As we crossed into Texas from New Mexico, we realized we were approaching one of the state’s most famous roadside landmarks—Cadillac Ranch. Without hesitation, we decided to make a quick stop to check out the iconic row of half-buried, graffiti-covered Cadillacs. Seeing the vibrant layers of spray paint and the sheer creativity left behind by visitors over the years made for a fun and unique experience. It’s one of those quirky landmarks that you just have to see in person!
The next morning, we continued our journey to Guthrie, TX, home of the legendary 6666 Ranch. If you’re a fan of the Yellowstone TV series, you’ll recognize this historic ranch as a major part of the show’s storyline. Though we couldn’t explore much beyond what’s visible from the road, just being in the presence of such a famous and expansive ranch was exciting.
Of course, our road trip always has to include stops at In-N-Out, so we made sure to grab a bite before continuing our drive toward Fort Worth. It was another great day of exploring, mixing iconic landmarks with a bit of pop culture history!
