On this Fourth of July, we’re going to drive the million dollar highway between Ouray and Silverton. I’ve been looking forward to this highway as it is one of the most beautiful, though maybe a bit dangerous, road in US.
But first thing first, breakfast and workbook for Anna.
When we arrived at Ouray, the town was already crowded for the July 4th activities. This town truly feels like Switzerland.
Driving south from town, we continued on to the million dollar highway toward Silverton. Pictures truly cannot do justice to the natural beauty of this area.
Once we arrived in Silverton, we went straight to the Rocky Mountain Funnel Cake Factory to grab something to eat. Afterward, we went exploring this awesome little western town.
From Silverton, we made our way to Mountain Village where we can charge our car and then take the gondola to Telluride.
