After an overnight drive through the many corn fields of Nebraska, we finally arrived in Denver, Colorado in the morning. The view suddenly changed from flat to mountains, it was amazing but only a preview of what’s to come.

Few hours into Colorado, we went past an interesting sign which made us turn around and stopped by. Thankfully we did this because this place was pretty amazing.

After driving few miles away from Monarch Pass, we had to stop again at this lake area. There was not many people at the time and whoever were there, they seemed local. The view of this place was just too amazing to be just driven by.

After a couple of hours, we’ve finally arrived at Montrose, Colorado, our home base for the next couple days. At this point we’ve been on the road for around 40 hours so we’re taking a much deserved rest.
