Omaha is famous for its steaks, so coming into this city, we wanted to splurge and eat at the best steakhouse. There were many options and we ended up choosing Gorat’s. Apparently this is Warren Buffet’s favorite steakhouse. I had a filet mignon and it was the best one I have ever had.
After Gorat’s, we went to visit the St. Cecilia Cathedral.
And to end our day in Omaha, we visited the Joslyn Castle and Garden.
On the way out of Omaha toward Colorado, our supercharger stop was near a restaurant called Thunder Road Grill. It had some weird collection of tanks, cars and statues. We decided to check it out.
With the car charged, we said goodbye to Nebraska and continued our overnight drive to Colorado.
